Community Donations

We are delighted to accept donations from our wonderful community at the Shed during the hours above. Please ensure all items are clean, undamaged and serviceable. Unfortunately we really don’t have the additional working hours necessary for routine repairs to damaged or broken items.

Community members can drop off items at the Shed at the times above, or contact us for larger items like furniture & appliances that need to be collected. For collection we ask that items are clean, in good condition, on the ground floor and easily transported to an area where we can park the truck. Unfortunately, we are unable to carry heavy items up or down stairs for safety reasons.

To arrange collection, please contact us by phone during donation times on (08) 9758 8945 or request a collection via email: margaretriver.wa@lions.org.au

We will take almost anything in good condition that can be sold at the Shed. For guidance, see the list below, check out the photos, call, email or just pop into the Shed and ask. We thank the community for their generosity. Without you, we would have nothing to sell to raise money for worthy causes.

You can also donate money directly via a bequest or other means. Please email for details.

All items are checked and any that are not suitable for sale have to be sent to recycling or landfill. Landfill is not only bad for our environment, it also costs the Lions money that would otherwise go to good causes. As a rule of thumb, if you wouldn’t buy it, no-one else will, so please recycle or dispose of it yourself. Any items left on the verge outside the Shed is illegal dumping, will be reported to the Shire Rangers and CCTV evidence supplied. Please visit AMR Shire Recycling Centre for details on what to do with items unsuitable for donation to us.
