Margaret River Lions Club is part of an International network of Clubs that have existed for many years. We are proud to have been part of the Margaret River Community for several decades. The current Shed started some time ago as an idea from our founding members to collect donations and hold a garage sale to raise money. A small scale operation run from home at first, started to snowball and became more and more successful. New dedicated premises were required and we were delighted to lease our current site from the AMR Shire in Burton Road and the build commenced.

We can now look back to those visionaries and only wonder how they achieved what we have today. It’s clear that we could not have achieved the massive fortnightly sales without the growing and generous donations, or our generous and hardworking members and volunteers.  However, it is possible to hear more about our history and we still have a few of our founding members in the Shed….you just have to ask!
